Stone-Wright family papers, 1857-1949.

A small collection of papers of the interrelated Stone and Wright families, in particular those of William E. Stone and his wife Katherine Fay Stone of Cambridge, Mass. The papers relate primarily to Stone's financial interests in iron mining, in particular as treasurer of the Champion Iron Co. and Imperial Iron Co. (both with mining in Michigan but offices in Boston), and include stock certificates, four treasurer's reports of Champion, and three account books of his personal finances and investments (1874-1918). The collection also contains biographical information on Stone and his family and a commonplace-book kept by Mary Tappan (later Wright) from 1870-77, mostly containing poetry.
